“Don't make a sound.” It comes out gravelly and rough, like the guy hasn't spoken in who knows how long. “Put your hands up where I can see them, open the door, and walk inside slowly.” Sam does as he's told, his heart hammering against his chest.

Summary
Summer, 1843. Governor Snoke and the Knights of Ren terrorize the countryside. Just when the people of Los Angeles have lost all hope, a masked outlaw named The Fox arrives. But the Fox is not alone: a mysterious swordsman called The Falcon also appears, and together the Fox and the Falcon promise to take down Snoke and free Los Angeles from his tyranny.
Of course, all of this would be a lot easier if the Fox knew who the Falcon was, if the Falcon wasn’t secretly hoping that the Fox was his boyhood crush, and if everyone in the resistance would stop keeping so many secrets…but maybe, just maybe, our two boys will figure things out in time to save the day.

This story is my take on how Agent 13/Sharon Carter should have been portrayed in the movies, had the writers stuck to their original plans and scripts that gave her the main female role in the CA movies rather than piecemealing it off on other female characters. This fic revisits the movies, as well as portrays some original storyline to fill in the gaps, all the way up to how I feel Endgame should have ended.
