"Whaddya’ mean?"
"Could you just— sleep with me? In my bed?" He slightly stumbles over his words; he’s just not used to feeling so vulnerable. He’s a hood, a greaser. "Like, not in a weird way. Alright? I just.. don't think I wanna be alone right now."
Johnny looks at him with an unreadable expression, and Pony thinks he stepped over a line. Suddenly, he wishes he had just kept his mouth shut. He’s about to take it back. Yell, 'Just kidding! Nevermind!’ But before he can, Johnny smiles and says "Sure, man. Anythin’ you need."

"Yeah, same." Johnny groans, leaning against the arm of the loveseat. “M’ scared I might be bad.”
Ponyboy looks over at him, his eyes stopping at a certain part of his face. Suddenly he has a thought he's never had before, and an idea forms from that thought. God, he's definitely drunk.
"Hm, maybe we outta.. y'know, practice?" Ponyboy suggests very quietly, half hoping Johnny wouldn't hear him.
Johnny chuckles dryly, "Oh, yeah? How do you suggest we do that?" He kind of slurs his words and he looks over at Ponyboy with an amused grin before a realization strikes him.
"Y-you mean— Pony, what?"
