Bumi would be okay, no matter what was thrown at him. He was Bumi, why wouldn't he be fine? He was the fun, optimistic guy who pushed on no matter what!

Summary
The conversation goes on, but Ikki is only half-listening. Instead, she’s imagining it – a summer spent on the road, travelling from place to place, performing every evening. Seeing new places, meeting new people. She thinks about Auntie Kya, all the places she’s been, the stories she has about just about every place on the big world-map in Dad’s study. Perhaps she could see the whole world, just like Auntie Kya. Perhaps this could be the start of it.
The story of Ikki's teenage rebellion, and the strain it puts on her relationship with her father.
