Summary
After the massacre at the Mac-Z where Will awakens his powers, he collapses from the strain of killing three demogorgons at once. As Mike takes care of him in the aftermath, his concern for Will causes him to come to some realizations about his feelings regarding his best friend, and he is left to grapple with that knowledge as he watches over Will while he rests.
Meanwhile, Robin and Lucas reunite with the group, looking for answers about what happened. There was one thing Robin was sure of though. After witnessing Mike taking care of Will in the Squawk, she’s certain his feelings are not unrequited.

Summary
Mike has always lived to feel needed, like an innate urge to protect the things he cares for.
And yet, right now he is the one who needs.
He needs Will, more than anything he’s ever needed in his entire life.
“You…you can’t leave me,” Mike says, his voice sounding smaller, younger than his normal register.
Will rests his head on top of Mike’s. “I won’t,” he whispers into his hair. “I promise.”
Basically a retelling of the 24 hours immediately following Vol. 1, with added fluff and flashbacks, the infamous mixtape, Mike being a more fleshed-out character, and a much-needed confession from Will.
