    Kakyoin Noriaki has never felt so stupid in his life.

    To be fair, he’s had some particularly bad moments in the past, but none as bad as this. Not when he was trying to convince the rest of the crusaders on their way to Egypt that the baby in their care was actually a Stand user. Nor when he forfeited his soul over a game of F-Mega with D’Arby the Younger. Not even when he had allowed himself to be brainwashed by the vampire who had the honor of recently blasting a hole through his torso, Dio.

    No, nothing could be worse than this, he thought, staring numbly at the bottle of pills in his hand, labeled in clear, standard print. Non-drowsy antihistamine. 25 mg. 50 count. He read the words over and over again, not wanting to believe them.

    These were not his hormone regulators.

    Or: a simple mistake has some consequences.
