'Gon.' Killua cuts Gon off a bit more sternly that he intended. The strange, warm tension in Killua’s stomach is gone, replaced by a bone deep terror. Clearly something is wrong. Very wrong. It must be the Nen ability. Gon must under the influence of something extremely sinister; it’s the only reason he’d be talking like this. Whatever’s been done to him is profound, corrupting his very capacity for reason."
Gon gets hit with a mysterious Nen ability that inexplicably makes him fall in love with Killua. He doesn't mean any of it, of course. It's entirely artificial. It has to be. As if he would ever actually have feelings for Killua.

never, not once in my life have i read settphel until today. and i come by the most amazingly written, spectacular, beautiful, earth shattering fic I've ever read.
the writing style is absolutely perfect. the way theyre characterized and brought together, the explanations, everything feels like just a continuation of what we know to be canon.
i love this. i absolutely love this. five stars, ten out of ten, whatever measuring system we're using, this gers the highest marks.

Vi ignored him as movement outside the window caught her eye and she leaned over to see what it was. Her neighbor looked up, their eyes meeting for a brief second. A scowl appeared on the young woman’s face and Vi quickly moved away from the window and took her seat again at the drumset.
“Fuck me,” she mumbled.
Ever since her neighbor had moved in a couple of months ago, it had been nothing but complaint, complaint, complaint. She hated Vi’s music, she hated her friends. She hated the way Vi’s cooking smelled (when she had the misfortune of burning it once or twice).
