Summary
At this point, Yeosang is settled in his travel routine. He knows what he needs to stay centered on the road. He needs time to sleep, time to workout, and lots of time to himself in the quiet space of his hotel room so he has the energy to interact with cameras, fans, and the world.
He also needs Jongho to count his reps in the gym, to drag him to a local dinner spot, and to compete with him in League.
When Jongho is suddenly pulled from the road due to injury, Yeosang slowly unravels. The lights get brighter, the noise of the fans gets louder, and casual conversation with his friends gets harder. How big of a part is Jongho to his routine?
Or, it's 2023. Jongho's on hiatus. Yeosang is on the road. And he realizes a critical part of him is missing.

“Care to explain to me what that was all about?” Mingi asks, stepping closer, caging him in. He keeps one hand wrapped all the way around Yunho’s wrist — just how he knows Yunho likes it — and drops his forearm against the wall next to Yunho’s bright red ears, trapping him.
“What all what was about?” Yunho tries to act nonchalant but he fails, so spectacularly: he can’t even answer Mingi with a straight face, both smug and eager, vibrating with something that Mingi thinks is close to desperation. It’s a clear indication where his headspace is at, bratty and eager, looking to get a rise out of Mingi. Yunho knows that his non-answer is answer enough, an answer that was perhaps not the correct one but will have corresponding results later.
Mingi makes a low warning nose in the back of his throat and Yunho flushes crimson, throat bobbing around his nervous swallow. “Don’t make this worse, pup,” and oh, the way Yunho whines so fucking pretty on that alone makes Mingi grin, already so far gone and under that Mingi barely even has to push.
