Summary
Moving to Forks, Washington, for college hadn't been at the top of Bella Swan's list of goals. But when her dad, Charlie, had offered to let her stay in her childhood bedroom for free, the thought of the books she'd be able to buy with the extra cash and gratitude that she wouldn't have to suffer in a dorm for four years almost made her jump for joy.
Forks is precisely how she remembered. Finding a routine was easy: sleep, lectures, dinner with Charlie, homework, weekend hangouts with Angela, repeat. Falling into it was second nature; like comforting clockwork, her life was smooth sailing.
