Sure, it had been turning around his head for the past couple of hours so it's a relief to get it out, but to just blurt it out randomly like that? It sends an uncomfortable feeling of embarrassment creeping up his face and he almost considers trying to take it back and laugh it off.
But then Kris lets out a short, amused-sounding breath, not turning to face him. "I mean, sure, if they want to."

It was scary, admitting he’d developed feelings for his best friend. Kris wasn’t quite sure how he’d gotten to this point - he was fairly certain it hadn’t been a problem when he’d agreed to move in with Bojan before Stožice but now, after three months living together in Slovenia then with the band in London as well, he couldn’t deny how his heart leapt every time he laid eyes on his best friend. He’d started to despair of getting any break from the wrenching emotion, underfoot as the other always seemed to be these days, and it didn’t help his cause that Bojan had decided for some reason that Kris and Nace’s bed was his favorite place to compose lately, either. Kris glanced over at the happily humming boy, doing his best to ignore the fact he was sprawled out next to him once again in just his underwear, and complained, “Do you really have to do that in here? I’m trying to rest.”
