Summary
Seokjin stirs again, before curling in on himself like a kimbap, underneath the blankets. His feet are starting to get cold from the air rushing in and, maybe, he’s doing this because he likes the attention. It’s routine by now; he enjoys this morning teasing, this playful push-and-pull between him and Hoseok. He can’t deny that—but he can hide.
“Aren’t you hungry? You’re usually hungry this time of the day, hyungnim. It’s 11 am,” Hoseok says, sweetly taunting, with an honorific tacked on like a cherry on top.

There is a furrow between Hoseok’s brows, deep enough to have been eroded by water over thousands of years. He stands like a carefully carved statue of some Greek god, an Adonis, weight resting on one foot as water strikes his body. He is bronzed, they both are, from the bathroom lights sunsetting over them.
Even as someone who observes, who sometimes memorises, Seokjin doesn’t immediately understand what he’s referring to. From Hoseok’s lips: said and not did. The student in him emerges again, puzzling over this tiny clue—the latest in many he has figured out so far.
