Fawnpaw is an apprentice of Autumnclan - known for its clever disposition and keen ability to hunt in the undergrowth of their dense, seasonal forests. Unlike her littermates, however, her apprenticeship is to her mother, and her den has always been the nursery. Having only learned to walk at 5 moons, there were grim expectations from her clan’s medicine cat; but now at 8 moons, Fawnpaw is at a pivotal moment of self-discovery as she navigates her unique role within Autumnclan.

Summary
A world of 6 clans, represented by the tree that supports them in life, who live separated from each other, but co-exist in relative peace. However, easy times are short lived, and in the past 2 season-cycles, the clans have been under siege by a savage group of powerful golden cats known only as the Leopard Cats. They live outside of clan borders, and attack patrols without mercy. Secret histories and vengeances lie just under the surface of normal clan life, and as more lives are lost every season, it has become clear that only through strength in numbers might the clans be able to survive this threat.

Summary
A parasite sprang from the rubble and he smashed it down viciously. The crowbar pinned it to the floor, its innards leaking even as it scrabbled for escape. The thing whined and screeched and died, fighting every second. Maybe a biologist could have told him why the thing was hostile, or what mechanism drove it to seek a human host, but he was not a biologist. He was a physicist, and he'd decided to live.
