"I know what you are," Stiles says. Hot breath fans across the back of his neck and he resists the urge to shiver.
"Say it," Derek's voice is low and dangerous, verging on a growl. He brooks no room for argument. "Out loud."
There's a long pause while Stiles works up the nerve, but Derek grows impatient and growls again, even more threatening than before: "Say it."
"Werewolf."
There’s a hint of insecurity beneath the attempt at menace when Derek asks him, “Are you afraid?”
