aka, the one where Aventurine is finally sort-of settling into his 'new' life, except there are café shenanigans, (kinda?)lovers'-tiffs, a child who needs him, maybe a little bit more trauma to unpack, and a whole two-persons' worth of memories for him to sift through - not necessarily in that order.

The question catches her off guard, breaking the static silence that had so peacefully been enveloping the two.
She waits a second or two for the punchline to arrive, but, at the inquisitive look she's instead given, decides to take the bait and ask properly.
"What?"
All she receives is a bewildered expression from Hanako -a face so rarely seen from the Jester- and she feels the tension in the room increase tenfold.
A moment passes, before the brunet's face brightens and, to her absolute dismay, a smug smile spreads broadly across his features.
"It was an actual question, your Royal Highness,"
"Oh,"
At the man's cheeky grin, she amends hastily, "I knew that!"
