Summary
Sirius Black’s smirk is the first thing he notices. He’s gotten more confident since the last time they spoke, or maybe he’s a better actor than Remus gave him credit for.
“Feeling alright, Lupin? You look…” Black looks him up and down, bold eyebrows quirking up on his forehead, “Unwell…”
“Fine,” Remus pushes away from the wall and busies himself washing his hands. Sirius steps up to the sink next to him, watching him through the mirror.
“Everyone loses,” Sirius says. “I mean… Not us, but you won’t be the only ones to lose your first preseason game.”
“Fuck off,” Remus rolls his eyes and shakes water off of his hands.
“Sorry,” Sirius grins. “Didn’t think you’d be so sensitive.”

Summary
“Is this where I admit to a professor kink?” Sirius asks cheekily. As the words come out of his mouth he realizes he must still be drunk. Remus must be, too. He laughs loudly until Sirius darts up to cover his mouth with his hand.
“You better not.”
“No. But,” he cranes up, muscles in his abs straining, to press their mouths together, whispering when the kiss breaks, “the jumper really does it for me.”
Or,
Lily hosts a disastrous dinner party and Sirius Black meets the love of his life (and learns he has a jumper kink).

Summary
“Sirius,” Remus’ eyes are still closed. He’s groggy – has no idea what time it is, it could be six, could be ten. Neither of them have any real reason to get out of bed, with no schedule and nowhere particularly important to be. Maybe they could stand to take advantage of their free run of the apartment, what with James gone. But they can do that and sleep in.
“Sirius,” Remus repeats with a groan this time. He’s squirming, rolling from his back to his side to his back again. It's disturbing his peace. Remus rolls blindly toward him and wraps an arm around his waist, dragging him closer.
Sirius goes still with a huff.
“What’s got you so worked up?” He hides his smile against Sirius’ bare shoulder. His skin is warm with sleep, where their chests are pressed together he can feel the quick hammer of Sirius' heart.
“You know what,” Sirius complains, but doesn’t fight against the arm around his waist.
Or,
Remus and Sirius have the house to themselves for the first time in a long time, and they intend to make the most of it.

Summary
Living with Remus Lupin is torture. Thankfully, Sirius has a plan to address the tension.
//
Sirius scoffs, and when Remus doesn’t turn around to look at him says, “Face it Moony, you’re drying up. You need me.”
“What?” Remus laughs tightly, squirting an aggressive amount of soap in the sink and twisting the tap with a little more viciously than it probably deserves. “So, you’re planning on playing wingman all night?”
“Yep,” Sirius says, popping the ‘p’ for emphasis. “And you’ll play wingman for me. It’ll be perfect.”

Summary
It’s a flurry of limbs. James doesn’t waste a second pulling him inside - or maybe that’s for practicality sake. If Sirius saw them together he’d lose it on account of them being them, and if Remus saw them together he’d lose it on account of it being the night before his wedding.
Or, Regulus and James are friends with benefits. All hell breaks loose.

Summary
Remus Lupin is freshly twenty years old and sitting on a park bench in central London, he has a squashed pastry bag next to him and a cup of tea clutched between perpetually cold fingers.
He moved to London eight months ago in search of a new doctor after having grown up on a little farm in Wales, and he hasn’t taken well to city life. He's taken to this park mostly because the trees are dense, the people are sparse, and there are birds. Nice ones that sing and hop from bench to bench scavenging for dropped bits of food or else pulling worms from the earth. Today he’s watching a pair of ducks glide easily across the pond. He thinks they must have a nest nearby, and in a few weeks there will be ducklings.
Or...
Remus Lupin has always been sick, and he'd just like to feel normal for once. Sirius Black seems like the perfect man with a perfect, exciting life.

Summary
“You can come in, if you’d like,” he says. “I’ll leave the door open for you.”
He feels a little bit ridiculous, talking to nobody. Remus shoots a furtive look around to be sure none of his neighbors have wandered up the hill and tries not to look as crestfallen as he feels when nothing at all changes.
Somewhere, though, out in the shadows of the garden, a bush shifts and groans, a branch snaps and a family of rabbits is forced out of its warren. The back door is on terrible rusty hinges that creak and groan as it’s nosed open. Remus holds his breath, a broad bean clasped between his two hands, ready to snap the tough end into the bin. There’s a very prominent lump in his throat that he tries desperately to swallow, an anxious buzz rising up from low in his gut, eyes unfocused and blood running so hot he can feel the flush in his cheeks.“How long were you out there?” He swallows once, twice, and then a third time.
“I don’t know,” Sirius’ voice is thin and rough from lack of use, every word sounds like an effort. Remus lowers the bean to the counter and grips the edge of it with a shaking hand, “awhile.”

Summary
When Regulus cut ties with his family, he cut ties with everyone. Now he’s perfectly happy in the life he’s built for himself running a bookshop in a quaint little town by the sea (even if it does mean spending Christmas by himself).
James Potter has never known how to leave well enough alone.
Or,
James takes it upon himself to drag Regulus home for Christmas and an unexpected snow storm rolls in, stranding them together over the holiday with no lights, no power, and no heat. Enjoy!

Summary
James swallows the last of his drink and takes an ice cube in his mouth, rolling it on his tongue and then cracking it between his molars. Regulus wants to chase it down his throat – Remus leans in close and does just that.
He can’t quite make it out from here, but he knows what it feels like. Remus’ fingers digging half-moon marks into the soft flesh of James’ cheeks, holding him there and groaning into his mouth, the tangle of tongues – one ice cold and one blazing fucking hot.
Regulus bites down hard on his lip and mumbles something that sounds like “sorry, I have to go.”

Summary
After Regulus spends a difficult year alone with their parents, Sirius convinces him to spend his last summer before college on a road trip with him and his closest friends. The very last thing he's expecting is for his feelings for Sirius' best friend to resurface with a vengeance (and he certainly isn't expecting them to be returned).
As it turns out, he and James aren't the only ones dealing with complicated emotions. Sirius has just returned from a year long trip abroad and Remus is having a difficult reconciling with just how much he's missed him.
Or, a coming of age road trip AU full of angst, fluff, healing family trauma and navigating old feelings.
//
He doesn’t realize his heart is beating hard again until he has a hand pressed tight to his chest like he can reach right into his ribs and still it. “Wait-“ his door is closed, there are footsteps on the stairs (heavy ones, they belong to Sirius, uneven like he’s hauling something heavy on one of his shoulders).
“Wait,” he hisses again, one hand gripping his doorframe, standing like a deer in actual headlights in his pajamas, hair wild and eyes wide. “You’re sure there’s room?”

Summary
A group of recent college graduates set off to a cabin in the woods for one last hurrah before going their separate ways. As the weekend goes on, it becomes increasingly clear that they aren't alone out there.
This is horror-themed AU featuring our favourite Marauders where (almost) everyone dies. This is a fic written for Halloween, with scheduled weekly (sometimes twice weekly) updates until October 31st. Enjoy! It's basically angst and smut with a little bit of fluff as a treat.
//
“Dad used to take me camping up there.”
“Mm?” Sirius turns until his cheek is nestled in the crook of his arm, watching Remus with a half-smile.
“Said there’s a murderer who lives in the woods.”
“Oh fuck off Remus,” and then Remus is snorting and dodging his own boxers, flung across the room in his direction, wondering if they have time for one more round before James picks them up. The honk sounding from the street says no, they don’t, and when he glances out the window he catches sight of the powder blue jeep, Peter waving emphatically from the passenger side, and music blaring loudly enough that their neighbors are starting to stir.
“Time’s up, babe.”
