    It's 2008 and Cassian is unemployed after the housing crisis. Jyn works at a big box store. They struggle to adjust to their change in circumstances and try not to tear each other apart.

His stress levels are through the goddamn roof, and Stone is seriously worried that he’ll either destroy the lab in a fit of rage, or burst a blood vessel trying. Stone can see the tension working its way into his body, the pain and stiffness he carries in his back and shoulders due months on end of working himself to the bone. It breaks his heart to see him like this, so exhausted and emotionally raw, but luckily, he knows the perfect way to help his boss relax.
