Summary
Jimin and Taehyung met in high school and have been best friends ever since, tied to the hip. They moved to the same city, applied and got in the same university. Everyone likes to call them soulmates, and they agree, couldn't imagine a life without the other. They understand each other on a deeper level, spend most of their free time together. On the outside, they truly seem to be the best of friends. But their relationship is much more complicated than that.

Summary
Kim Taehyung, a hybrid born with a mutation, holds the power to either destroy or save hybrids’ ties to their animal nature, both in The Wilds and in The City. Hybrids in The City have all but lost their animal characteristics and abilities. Some still have heightened senses and instincts, but many have shunned their animal counterparts altogether. This movement has been led by a corrupt government wanting its citizens to become weaker and less able to revolt against them—a population more easily controlled for their own interests. In the shadows of darkness, toeing the line between wild and civilized, lies The Pride, a group of hybrids resisting the oppression of the government and working to uncover the corruption and lies being fed to the general populace. Taehyung finds himself in a tug-of-war between both sides wanting to use him to their advantage. He has only known fear, violence, and being hunted his entire life. Besides his parents, only two people have ever shown him true kindness and love. One was lost forever, and the other is his salvation and path to freedom. But the path to freedom may cost him everything.

idk i didnt know how explain it, but that pretty much sums it up. i wrote this a while ago, so note that it is very cringe. not nearly as cringe at my other bts fic (oh god no) but its still kind of hard to read. but im sure this fandom will probably appreciate it. also, non binary tae last minute because i wanted to be qUiRkY.
