Summary
This is not how Tim had planned to spend his night. In fact, he would rather be fighting an army of robot penguins with rocket launchers than be here, which was his original plan.
Instead, he was sitting in his apartment, perched on the edge of the couch in case he needed to make a hasty escape. The couch wasn't particularly comfortable, either. He'd ordered all of his furniture out of a catalogue, and he barely stayed here enough to warrant the cost.
He'd never minded, until now. It kept nosy siblings from staying the night and kept Tim from lounging and getting complacent. It kept him busy. But, until this point, Tim hadn't quite realized just how much his apartment was reminiscent of his childhood home, a fact only emphasized by his dead mother seated on the matching chair across the room.
What was he supposed to say? 'Hey, how have you been? Sorry you died and I failed and let your entire legacy crumble and fall apart because I couldn't stand the thought of turning into you.'
---
A spell gone wrong is bringing back the dead, and Tim suffers. Title is taken from DNA by Lia Marie Johnson.

Summary
Twenty years ago, Bruce would never have been able to imagine how big his family would grow. He'd been at the beginning of his role as Gotham's first vigilante, and he had carefully constructed steel walls around his heart. To clean up Gotham, he'd reasoned, he needed to be alone. Connections would only slow him down and provide unnecessary distractions.
Then, almost as if the universe stepped in, Bruce went to the circus and found a pair of young, broken blue eyes.
And then another.
And another.
---
Pretty much just Bruce overthinking about each of his kids. Enjoy!
