Summary
The pseudo engineer-scientist yearned for the connection she held between her dearest. It was all but available now that he lay curled up in a blanket on a perked hospital bed. Her eyes traced the scars from the incident that littered his body all while the theorist ended his final symphony.
tl;dr,
Fan fell into a coma as Test tube plummeted deeper into despair.(title is a song by Penelope Scott)

Summary
Cheng xiaoshi got into reading romance manhuas. Of course, he couldn't resist trying out cringe tropes with his boyfriend.
One shots of them trying out these classic tropes/moves in each chapter. (Ft. Lu guang having to play along or maybe he secretly enjoys it)Extreme fluff pro max (because we deserve sweetness in this depressing fandom)
The last chapter includes marriage proposals, engagement party and them becoming fiance's 😆 (can be read as standalone)

Summary
But then he heard it, his voice again.
It had barely been a month, how could he miss his voice this much?
God, there really is something wrong with him. He calmed down momentarily, not being able to say anything or even understand what exactly they were talking about, until—
“I like Xiaoshi, he’s cute.” He heard Lu Guang say, answering something Qiao Ling asked as they were seemingly still unaware of his presence. He sounded so lovely when he said it, he—
Wait, what? Hold on, what did he just say…?
Everything was silent for a moment, maybe it was just a second, maybe an eternity, Cheng Xiaoshi couldn’t tell.
After an argument between Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, both stop talking to each other for different reasons. Misunderstandings, overthinking and revelations make Cheng Xiaoshi finally realize something that has always been there.

Summary
Cheng Xiaoshi went wherever life took him. The more active he tried to be, the more he just messed things up for himself, and so he was forced into a passive role. Always following orders, always following what his parents told him, always following what his teachers thought was best for him.
That's why, for the past three years, Xiaoshi’s life had consisted of attending highschool, studying in the library, getting tutored until dinnertime, eating, and passing out. Day by day. Three years long.
Well, he’d managed to get into the most prestigious university…in Bridon.
Eight thousand kilometres away from Guidu, and he barely spoke the language. Yet he had to complete a nursing degree in English.
[Cheng Xiaoshi just left China for the first time in his life to study four years abroad. Feeling completely isolated, he's more than ecstatic to find Lu Guang, another Chinese person living in Bridon. Over the years, they prove to be inseparable and seem to be the only two to really find comfort in each other]

Summary
The lights in the room are dim—the overhead ones off, only the secondary light from the monitor at Cheng Xiaoshi’s bed and the thin yellow strip under the door. In this low light, he can see the way the bandages wrap around Cheng Xiaoshi’s torso, visible above the hospital-thin blanket that Cheng Xiaoshi has, characteristically, already half-kicked off.
Lu Guang’s eyes track the rise and fall of his chest. Up, down. Up, down.
He keeps doing this. He cannot seem to stop.
Or: Their time in the hospital post the events of season 2.
