Summary
Shane desperately tries to distract himself from Rozanov's damp curls, the sharp line of his stubbled jaw, the bonfire still burning deliciously in his lungs. God, he’s trying so fucking hard to escape his scent, taking deep breaths with his mouth, but with him right there, reeking like that, is like drowning into it.
Or: the one where Alpha!Ilya accidentally imprints on Omega!Shane, but they spend around ten years denying it and yearing for each other.

Summary
“That’s a long way away, Yuna,” his father said before Shane could sputter out some nonsense. “The boy just had his ceremony. Let him enjoy a couple of years before you start bothering him. He’s not even married yet.”
The last few words hung in the air between them for a bit too long, and Shane noticed the significant look his parents shared. He knew what they were thinking, could see it written all over their faces simply because he had seen those expressions many times before, whenever the topic of Shane’s arranged marriage unexpectedly popped into the conversation.
Or, Shanen Hollander, heir to the kingdom of Kanadya, thought he'd never marry the man his parents had chosen for him twenty years ago. And then the universe decides his luck's run out.

Summary
Shane Hollander is the best player in the league. That has never mattered less than it does under Ilya Rozanov, Team Canada's new coach for the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
Shane grew up watching him, playing against him, idolising him in a way he didn't even realise. But as a coach, Shane hates him. He's cold, demanding, and impossible to please. But Rozanov pushes Shane harder than anyone ever has, and slowly his hate turns to obsession, competition to dependence. And Shane learns that their lessons come with a price: desire neither of them can afford.
(OR the coach/player forbidden hollanov you've been waiting for ;) )

Summary
Nothing feels right or good. Not the weight of his pads or the glide of his skates over fresh ice. Not the crispness of the rink air or the roar of a sold out Montreal crowd. Not his teammates’ triumphant shouts when he sinks a goal or cool water in his throat after a hard workout or well wishing texts from his parents before every game. It’s all just… faded.
Grey.
Empty.
Shane doesn’t know how to bring color back into his life. Not when he leeched it out himself with every step he took away from the only person who has ever truly, honestly seen him.

After Shane walks away, his life falls apart one piece at a time.

Summary
“Are you sure it is even mine?”
Hollander seemed genuinely hurt by the suggestion, his big dark eyes fixed on the tiled flooring at Ilya’s feet. For a moment, he looked like he was about to cry again. “It doesn’t matter if it’s yours... Which it is, by the way. You fucking asshole.” He twitched. “But it’s not like we’re together. Whatever choice I make, I wouldn’t ask anything of you.”
“Good.” Ilya said coldly. He kind of felt like he was going to cry too. He wasn’t quite sure why. “I’m glad you know this.”
“Fine.”
