Summary
Shadowheart has been kidnapped by sharrans and she watched it happen: in a last ditch attempt to save her partner, Hymn goes back to Bhaal as his chosen so that she can once again claim the slayer's form.
Five years later, Shadowheart is free and can lay eyes on Hymn again for the first time but... She's not sure they still have a future together. And she doesn't have it in her to hope anymore.

Seven days of DurgeHeart prompts by @godofdystopia on tumblr with my durge, Hymn.
1.Stares of longing: they first make camp in the wilderness, and it seems they can't stop staring at each other.
2.Tender loving care: Hymn gets hurt but refuses care in fear Orin's victim might need it more than her.
3.In another life: alternate universe where Shadowheart is a monster hunter and Hymn a goat shepherd.
4.Our childhood innocence: young Hymn find young Jenevelle crying in an alley.
5.Meet the parents: Hymn briefly thought she had a chance of finding her adoptive family alive. She was wrong.
6.Green eyed monster: they were never together, but now they've (un)officially broken up. Shadowheart is jealous that Hymn is talking to someone else.

When Hymn wakes up on the nautiloid, she only knows three things: her name, that she's starving, and that she must find a way to get the fuck out of there. Unfortunately for her, the fourth thing that she does not remember, is that something in her likes killing... Maybe just a bit too much. And it doesn't wait long before it comes to bite her in the ass.
(Collection of one-shots following Hymn (The Dark Urge) as she makes her way through the game: missing scenes, retelling, and deep dives into her feelings. All companions are present but the story focuses on Hymn first and her relationship with Shadowheart second, so they're not tagged as to not clog fanfics searches.)
