Summary
After quitting his horrible job, Max Goof has no choice but to return to college—only to discover he has to retake all the classes he barely scraped through years ago. His hand clenched against the corner of the table, as one would tighten a throat. “Ah, most men in your place would already be grovelling or bargaining.” Russet colours focused on Hiccup once more. Viggo beamed then; a chilling invitation, a provocation: “You, however… You’re thinking.”
ㅤㅤ“And what do you reckon I’m thinking about?”
ㅤㅤViggo’s smirk widened. “How to win, even if you’ve already lost.”
ㅤㅤThat struck a nerve. Hiccup exhaled sharply, leaning forward as much as his bindings would allow: “I’m thinking how I’ll savour when I make you choke.”
