Summary

This was intended to be their final mission before their wedding and Weiss’ inheritance ceremony, but things don’t always go as planned. Ruby, as far as Weiss knew, was not coming back. She shortly learns that Ruby was not the only one she’d lost.
“You’re lucky we managed to extract it before your aura shattered and the dust entered your body.”
Weiss’ entire world had been turned upside down in less than twenty-four hours, and she was expected to live the rest of her life with this grief. Sure, she had her friends to rely on, but Ruby was Yang’s little sister. She didn’t want to be a burden.
“Stay away from me, or you’ll learn just how dangerous a huntress I am.”
She’s never prayed before, but she could use a miracle right now.
“I’m here, Princess…”
