“We should start a band,” Will announced, breaking the silence. Coy gave him a look, “A band? Seriously?” The man nodded slowly as if in deep thought. “Yeah, well I play drums,” he paused, “and you play guitar right?” He was right of course. Coy did in fact play electric guitar. “Play is one thing Will, preform is another,” Coy argued, “Anyway where are we going to find someone who sings and someone who plays bass?” He shrugged but gave him a look that said ‘you know who’. Unfortunately he was on a winning streak. Coy knew Anthony played bass; they were in the same guitar class.
“Well, I sing,” Hanbon chimed in, “And Anthony plays bass!” That earned her an elbow in her shoulder by Anthony. “Oh come on, don’t be so moody,” she sighed at the boy. Anthony looked between Habon then Will and Coy, then back at her, then back at them.
“Okay, but we need a cool name.”

Anthony didn’t know why he liked watching the sun rise from his school parking lot so much, but it became almost a weekly tradition. Most Saturdays, he was here, procrastinating going to that damn detention room.
Today was no different. He watched as a girl with brown and blonde hair throws her cardigan over her shoulder and slams her parents car door closed, and then he watched a boy wearing a purple sweater sigh extremely dramatically and then also slam his car door closed.
Anthony was a bit surprised, though, to see Coy Piso, the school’s resident theater geek, here of all places. He had the most miserable look on his face. For some reason, it made Anthony smile.
