Summary
In an effort to keep warm on a cold night (and to distract Rielle), Fray suggests they tell stories. He insists Sidurgu goes first. Unfortunately, Sid isn't used to telling stories.
Nevertheless, he attempts to detail a story of a Knight and his Sister, unrelated by blood but strongly tied together by bond, and the lengths that someone might go to in order to save the one they love.
The next night, it is Fray's turn to tell a story, and Sid swears to get better at storytelling. He cannot be overshadowed any longer.
Fray spins a tale of a Dragoon, who doesn't feel much like a person, happening to have a chance meeting with a Witch, and the lengths that someone might desire something but have no idea how to go about it.
And the night is warm, truly, and every night after that.

It was rare to spot Gaara before the midday break at all. Unless Lee happened to catch him trudging towards the Kazekage Tower, bleary-eyed and perpetually fifteen minutes late.
Which was why the sight of a red-draped figure swaying slightly in the harsh wind atop one of the disused outer guard towers had taken him by surprise. He hadn’t even been sure it was Gaara at first. It had been so early, morning in name only, and the sliver of the moon cast little light across the desert, leaving the figure’s face in shadow. It was only the silverine arch of sand creating odd forms behind his shoulders and the tense, closed-off posture of his body that gave him away.
Gaara hasn't been sleeping well. Lee tries to find out why.
