Barry did not surrender. His eyes may involuntarily tear up when Eobard squeezes the healing wounds inside his mouth, yet he wins again. His hand slides down, thumb catching on the bottom of Barry’s lip to pull it down. Red spit escaped to coat the pad of his thumb. The irrational urge to force his mouth open to see the blood inside roared under his heated fingers. Eobard had better control than that. Barry still did not move.
“Your luck proceeds to astound me, Mr. Allen.”

In a time where Barry's luck in 2x17 extended a bit further, and tachyon enhancement won't cut it this time. Now, Barry must venture into the Negative Speed Force to finally become fast enough. The only problem is that he must stay in the past with Eobard. For longer than they both predicted.
