But an unexpected complication with Mipha's Grace has given Link a corporeal ghost form. Now stuck amongst the living, with one foot in the realm of the dead, he must struggle to figure out what Hylia needs him to do. Luckily, the Champions of Old are there to help him as he strives to restore the kingdom.
The Second Book of this series will be Linked Universe. This story can be considered a Breath of the Wild fic.

For one hundred years it festered inside of him, transforming him into something less than Hylian. Though on the outside a monster, a hero lies within, and in spite of his trials, he will rise to right the wrongs of Hyrule.

However, this is not the Fallen Era of Time, but something far sinisiter. Corruption is thick in the air, and what little life there is perceivers in spite of everything.
Alone, Warriors traverses the cursed lands in search of his allies, but finds something unexpected. The Hero may have fallen one hundred years ago, but he was certainty not dead.

Ganondorf didn't expect to wake up from a sword through the head. So when he finds himself in the middle of an unfamiliar Hyrule, he's more than a little thrown. At least he has come across a young traveller willing to guide him to the nearest city.
Only, this traveller is odd. They're incredibly strong for their tiny size, and though they almost never speak they seem to understand him when he speaks in the language of his dead tribe.
They're also on a quest to kill his namesake.
(A fic in which Ganondorf finds himself accompanying Link through the plot of Breath of the Wild.)

Zelda had requested his assistance, so Link set out to learn what he could to about these strange new threats. Encountering heroes from the past was a surprise, but it gave him hope to have friends by his side.
He did his best to hold onto that hope, but that is harder than it should be when his first impression isn’t all that great.
When all is said and done, Link - Wild - must decide if the Heroes of the Forgotten Past are worth opening up to.
