Summary
The bodies Jensen deals with are usually collateral damage, people in the wrong place at the wrong time. Though most humans heed their gut feelings, there are some who aren’t sensitive enough to realize when they’ve strayed too close to a gateway, where you never know what might try to pass through. That leads to a number of unexplained deaths, the ones that are written up using terms like “mysterious circumstances” or “lack of physical evidence,” and leave both cops and coroners stumped.
Jensen, and a handful of other people with highly developed sixth senses, are tasked with putting those cases to rest.
