Sam wakes up in the Impala, faces down Lucifer when he comes for his nephilim child, and gets killed for his troubles… only to wake up in the Impala again.
Without the rings of the Horsemen, Rowena, or an archangel up his sleeve, Sam seems to be doomed, stuck in an endless loop of losing to Lucifer. That is until the universe—or perhaps a certain half-angel kid—throws him a bone in the form of a resurrected Gabriel.
As the only ones aware of the time loop, Sam and Gabriel are left with the hefty task of resolving it, along with their own issues. It’ll take a miracle for the two of them to ever see a day that’s not May 18th again, but together, they just might be able to pull one off.
After all, the strangest things happen when nephilim are born.
