Two-time turned their head to look at Azure, strands of raven hair falling onto their face. The sun was setting, turning the once blue sky into a gradient of red to yellow. A slightly cold breeze hit their faces, hair fluttering with the wind. The botanist turned his head to look at their friend, a soft, kind smile curled up on his lips.
Charcoal colored eyes met Amethyst, the chirping of birds echoed, patches of nightshades surrounding them
"Hm? What is it Nightshade?"
Azure's voice was as soft as room temperature butter and as sweet as honey, making Two-time's heart skip a beat... Almost forgetting what they were supposed to do in the first place—ah... right. The mighty spawn itself had come to Two-time within the chapel; to sacrifice the one dearest to them for the chance of a second life. They felt a cold sweat drip down their forehead— but before they give their bestfriend to the spawn, they should spend Azure's last moments with him, one more time.
"I... I'd like to have a mating ritual with you."

Summary
By the Spawn, Two Time has to do so, sacrifice their dear love Azure, for the chance of a second life, the Spawn spoke, Amarah spoke, it shall be done no matter the way Two Time’s heart sinks.
The two were alone, in a field of nightshades, quiet and solitary, it was time. Except Two Time hesitated, dagger raised to attack yet they couldn’t do it, they watched as Azure continued to rustle around with something, Two Time turned away from him, back facing him, they watched the noon sky with uncertainty.
They wavered once again as Azure finally turned around, a good opportunity wasted yet still the sacrifice could happen, but Two Time didn’t move as Azure spoke, every thing muffled by their ears as worry and panic rushed into their hearts, daring to defy Spawn, they gripped their weapon, resolving to make it happen before freezing again.
Azure, not in a bloody gurgle, but in a soft and nervous voice spoke those damning words “I love you”
or ass so good that he survived a sacrifice attempt.
or or, like my first smut, decided to write some smut, to dip my toes into the water yk? Literally this idea came out of nowhere and also there’s not enough top two time smut 😔
