It starts with Todd but it doesn't necessarily ends with just him either. He wanders around with his bloodhound, named both Ems and Dickenson, 'till he found kids of his age, beaten up but laughing. They told him he could sing along and he replied that they hadn't the time for that.
They could find ways to cope with all the destruction but the battle was still ongoing.
