Soobin hears the sigh of relief Yeonjun lets out, feeling the weight on his chest get worse, like a hand pressing down on him. He didn't realise how bad things had gotten, that hearing just a few words from Soobin was enough to take away so much stress from Yeonjun. He's always tried to be as small a burden on Yeonjun as he could be, but he knew it was never enough. He was always too much.

“... Steve.”
The guy’s eyebrows shoot up in surprise. “Steve?”
“Yeah, Steve.” Soobin does his best to sound nonchalant and not defensive at all. “Something wrong with that name?”
“Nothing wrong with that name when it’s yours.” Okay maybe he does have some –rizz–, and damn it’s working. His cheeks must be an embarrassingly deep shade of pink right now.
“What’s your name then?” Soobin manages out, but it’s with effort.
He grins. “Daniel.”
