And that’s another thing: the way Jongseong speaks make the butterflies in Jaeyun’s stomach go rabid.
Sometimes, Jaeyun would turn off his lo-fi music and just listen to the other boy talking. He would often feel light as the minutes pass by, slowly being pulled down and under until he finally realizes the next morning that he fell asleep on his desk. Jaeyun wants to make a comment about it, how hearing someone talk makes him fall asleep on his studies, but he doesn’t want to come off as weird.
And, truthfully, he can’t handle being weird with Jongseong because he doesn’t want the guy to suddenly back away—or worse, move out.
No, Jaeyun tells himself that he can just keep it to himself.
alternatively, Jaeyun sleeps better with Jongseong (and Jongseong is willing).

The photos of their first date are, well, horrible. Jongseong doesn’t know why he expected any better. They’re blurry and grainy, almost as if they were taken with the cellphone he had when he was ten years old. And, even though he recognizes the jacket Heeseung lent him on his shoulders, the other’s black beanie pulled over his hair, trying to cover his face a little, Jongseong thinks: this could literally be anyone.
But the headline above the two pictures remind him of what he’s doing, what the company is making him do. The words Famous singer Heeseung Lee out on a date with writer Jongseong Park? stare back at him. Jungwon’s voice echoes inside his head. It’s good promotion, it’s good promotion, it repeats like a mantra.
