The SCP Foundation saved her, gave her a new name, a new town, and a life small enough to survive in: no internet, no contact, no one who knew what she used to be. Just a fish counter, a fake smile, and monthly containment when the full moon came.
Then Seol Yoona stepped off a bus with a backpack and a camera and ruined everything.
She wasn't supposed to find her. She wasn't supposed to stay. And Jinsol wasn't supposed to let her.

“Oh, it’s Jinsol! Bae Jinsol? We met at Bree’s party the other night?” the girl chirped, unbothered by Haewon’s standoffish reply.
Haewon tilted her head. The girl, sensing her confusion, continued.
“We talked about Professor Tremblay and how annoying her guest speakers usually are? You also got kinda drunk in between.”
At that, the memories of the night suddenly rushed back to Haewon.
A few weeks ago, Haewon had attended this girl Bree’s party as a celebration after the annual art show, and Jinsol and Haewon had met by the bathrooms and struck up a conversation.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t all that happened.
when haewon is stuck covering a four-hour evening shift at her parents store, she expects to be bored out of her mind and slightly pissed at her family. instead, she finds herself in the company of a cheerfully open not-so-stranger.

"YOU?” Yoona gasps, eyes widening as she realizes who her new neighbor is. “The girl from the coffee shop?”
Annoying Girl only tilts her head, seemingly confused at what Yoona was referring to. Then, it seems to click, as she claps her hands together in surprise and lets out a delighted laugh.
"Ah, you were the girl behind me in Extraterrestrial yesterday! Small world, huh?” she laughs, nudging Jiwoo who stares blankly between the both of them.
"I’m Bae Jinsol! A freshman here at UDub, and yes, your new neighbor!” she beams, extending her arm towards Yoona.
Yoona glances down at the arm and back to Jiwoo. This was gonna be a long year.
after yoona has a meet-nightmare with jinsol on her first day in seattle, she decides to hold a one-sided grudge against jinsol, only to find it’s impossible when jinsol has seemingly invaded every part of her life.
