Draco realizes that Regulus abandoned the Dark Lord and set out to destroy the horcrux so that he could be mortal again. Only, Regulus died in the process and the locket was never destroyed. With the help of all the research he left behind in his room, Draco sets out to finish what his cousin started, only to realize that this would be a bigger undertaking than either of the two ever thought.
Along the way, Draco has to find a balance between love, morality, and fighting evil. But not everything is black and white... In the end, what is he willing to lose in order to succeed?
