Summary

The press coverage is enough to infuriate Daniel into action, and the two engage in a long series of sometimes digital, sometimes bloody correspondence.

Armand huffs, "It only seems that way to you because your mind is clouded by human delusion. A few hundred years from now, you will understand."
Daniel barks a sharp laugh, "A few hundred years from now, I'll be a pile of bones and a handful of worms."
"You can try to die, Daniel Molloy, but you will fail."

"We used to," Armand pauses, caught between his eclipsed view of the curve of Louis' ass and the realization that pronouns made this whole thing rather vague when the romantic entanglements in question are as complicated as they are. "Louis and I, sometimes we would both think of him. I thought you were doing the same."
"Sharing an ex-boyfriend sounds miserable."
"On one particularly mortifying evening in 1971, our shared thoughts of him got a little loud. And being the only one he could actually hear, I accidentally gave him an eyeful of what was happening. I believe he is coming to collect."
"Jesus Christ, you guys are insane." Daniel pushes up on his knees and returns to his seat.
Armand is hit with a perfectly timed view from Lestat, and voyeuristic shenanigans ensue. Mostly porn with the bare hints of a plot.

Kakashi nods, left hand going to his back pocket. He furrows his brow before smacking his right hand against a front pocket. He repeats the gesture with growing dramatic flair until he has patted down every pocket on his person.
“Oh no,” he says in a greatly exaggerated performance, “It seems I didn’t bring any money!”
Tenzo blinks once. Then twice. Then, a third time.
“Please get out of my store,” he finally says, unrestrained annoyance seeping through every word.
