This story is set in old times. Not a specific year/decade though because I just took things I like from anytime from like 1940s and earlier. Just a disclaimer, so if shit like that pisses you off then don't read. Anyways time for a real summary. Atticus (yes, his name is a To Kill a Mockingbird reference) Bleeker is a professor at a university and needs an assistant, so he starts advertising the assistant position. Otis White applies for the position and gets hired during the summer. On the first day of the new school year Atticus and Otis find out that another staff member at the university was murdered. Atticus and Otis decide to investigate the murder and find out who did it. Also they're gay for eachother but need to hide it but thats already in the tags so yea.

Okay so, this was actually a friend of mine's idea. His name is Ben but he wanted me to write it and post it because he doesn't have access to AO3. Also, I'll figure out a better title after the story gets started, the title's a work in progress right now lmao.
Anyways, an Alien named Kivv is accused of murder. She sticks to her story, saying she was framed but no one believes her. Because of this, she steals a ship and leaves. Something damages her ship, causing her to crash land on Earth where a human girl named Hana Miller finds her. She helps Kivv learn about earth while Kivv tries to get back home and clear her name.
