Summary
Rui was born into this world being a genius, but weak. Spending most of his days in the hospital, he wished for strength. That was until a mysterious doctor performed surgery on him when he was seven. Since then, he has been stronger. But he slowly picked up on the strange disappearances of people in Japan. And soon enough, he and his best friend became targets until Rin took them in and they swore an alliance.
They had started to recruit other people, and soon became known as the rebels taking down their corrupt government. They work tirelessly every day to try and keep from more civilian disappearances. All the while, the government is targeting one person in particular: Kamishiro Rui.

This is my own take on the cyberpunk dead boy fics out there! Tsukasa is both a rebel and an idol in this AU, so please take note of the fact that will be written about.

Rui has dated Tsukasa for a while now, and while he absolutely adores everything about Tsukasa and trusts him wholeheartedly, there are things he just simply can’t share because he knows it’ll hurt too much. Like the scars on his arms, or even his… poor attempt back in middle school. He knows that Tsukasa would never handle that, if at all!
But… Rui can’t hide forever, can he? As much as he would prefer to stay sheltered for the sake of Tsukasa’s mental health, he can tell his boyfriend is suspicious of him… And that scares him more than anything.

Not allowing Topaz to get up first thing in the morning when Numby wakes her up, holding her tight in the middle of the night, muttering things against her neck as he presses those soft lips along it. Aeons, he’s lucky he’s pretty. Or Topaz wouldn’t ever allow him to do this. Numby sits at Aventurine’s feet, looking at him as if debating whether to wake him. Topaz sees this, stifling a chuckle as she turns around and looks at that gorgeous sleeping face of Aventurine’s-"
