It didn't take Robby (or really, any of the doctors in the ED) long to figure out Langdon's diagnosis, even though he'd never said anything about it. It was pretty obvious, to be honest, and he didn't really care if they knew. Their reactions, however, he was more worried about.

It comes out of her mouth like a question. She’s out of her element, unsure of the protocols in a place like this, and it’s strange to use Langdon’s first name. She’s only ever referred to Langdon as ‘Langdon’.
(And once, when she was slightly tipsy and pissed off and his name was beyond her grasp, ‘that skinny little rat man’.)
