Jeff let her words sink in, mulling them over. Once, a long time ago, he had similar sentiments. They'd long gone, he no longer cared, but it didn't mean he didn't remember... Though he tried not to.
"Again and again, again and again... And again and again..." She lifted a hand, punctuating her words with a spin of her index finger.
"We came, didn't we?"
There was no reply, other than a small hum, another rotation.
"I'm still here." He nodded, stepping forward, looking into that dead blue and dim but living all the same amber eye. "Aren't I? Better late than never."

This story is the sequel to https://archiveofourown.org/works/52185745 , read that book first. It is also being uploaded on my Quotev. When healthy (being chronically ill and disabled is a bitch) I update 1-2 weeks, otherwise I do so closer to monthly. Give or take.

As if the warnings and orders were merely part of an elaborate, town wide haunted attraction, she foolishly walked the streets at night of all times. Earbuds in, singing along, nothing to lose but the death wish she clearly had.
It was obvious the moment she chose the church to go to of all things, danger or no. The cause of it all swept her up in its arms and would not let her go- not that she wanted it to.

I wrote the first chapter in about thirty minutes based off of a dream, song and some daydreaming/brainstorming involving the two things. And, of course, obviously the song St. Bernard by Lincoln.
It's also, albeit very slimly, inspired by another story here which will be linked.
I have no idea how long this will be, just like my Grell story it started as a oneshot but I got more ideas and decided to make it a novella, perhaps a full length book!
We shall see- hop on in and enjoy the ride! -

He held off responding as he walked over. Crouching in front of her, he carefully unwrapped the bundle in his hands.
“Made you a hot pack,” he said.
She blinked, thrown off by the casual tenderness of it. Her mouth twitched. “You trying to seduce me?”

Jinx is eight months pregnant. Her bladder's a trampoline, she's leaking in places no one warned her about, and definitely not crying over a toaster—shut up. But Ekko—damn him—makes it almost worth it.[This can be read on its own without reading the series it's attached to as I left it fairly generic, timeline-wise, to fit into almost any future.]

But her destiny was always poised to deviate from the moment a strange lady of the wind and other entities took an interest in her.

Jinx and Ekko are Isha's parents and that changes a lot of things.

”You can sleep,” he says and she smiles, a tiny thing that’s barely there, but she doesn’t close her eyes.
“Why did you save me?” she asks, and her voice is fragile, just like the moment between them. Ekko runs his thumb over Jinx’s knuckles, soothing.
“Because you’re worth it,” he says simply, stating the facts. She looks surprised for a second, in disbelief, until she smiles again. It’s not a big smile, just a rise of the corners of her mouth, but it lights up Ekko’s world.

A post-season 2 fic with a focus on Ekko struggling to handle his grief when he thinks Jinx is gone. Not only about Ekko (this is timebomb after all! Jinx will be involved, check out the tags) but I think his perspective is interesting and under-explored.
