Summary
The door opens, and his therapist walks out. Isagi Yoichi. Wide, metallic blue eyes that look too open to possibly be seeing inside anyone else, soft black hair, a kind smile that doesn’t reach his eyes.
Michael should’ve known. He’s heard of him—the therapist who specializes in soccer players, the one clubs send their problem cases to. Isagi’s the guy who supposedly gets into your head and makes you spill all your deep, dark traumas like a confessional priest with a psychology degree.
Michael has one goal: win. He’s going to sit through these sessions, give Isagi nothing, and prove to the court that he is completely fine, thank you very much, that guy he beat up on field in front of millions just had it coming.
“Michael Kaiser?” Isagi says, like they’re meeting at a dinner party instead of a mandatory therapy session for assaulting a guy on the field. Like he doesn’t know who Michael is.

“Are you alright?” he asks, taking a careful step forward. Kaiser rolls his eyes, shaking his head like Isagi just asked him what color the sky is. Even without words, Kaiser’s theatrics make it easy to understand him, and even easier to annoy Isagi as usual. “You know, if you weren’t hurt then I’d be glad that you’re finally shutting up.”
Kaiser smirks, picking up a pencil and notepad that was resting in his lap and scribbling on it. When he flips it around, it reads, ‘hardy har.’
____Kaiser damages his vocal cords temporarily, and he can’t speak even to say he doesn’t want Isagi around during the recovery. Or maybe he does, and actions speak louder than words.

Summary
”Do not succumb to the angel.”
Before Kaiser’s coronation as the new emperor, he was “gifted” an angel who had been imprisoned by his empire for centuries. He found out the angel, Isagi Yoichi, had descended to save the empire from destruction before he was eventually captured and subjugated.
Like all his predecessors, Kaiser was expected to use Isagi in ensuring the prosperity of the empire. However, he finds himself starting a forbidden relationship with the angel who’s out for blood.
