Summary
Henry is sent to Kuttenberg after Skalitz to finish learning his trade, but the plot still happens to Hans.
Hans ends up in the city eventually too, gets to watch the tournament and immediately becomes enamored with the local blacksmith who's wiping the floor with the other combatants. Later, when he's drunk enough that a bad idea is just starting to sound intriguing, he decides he has to go and figure out what the guys deal is. Henry accompanies his Lord to meet Jitka of Kundstadt for the first time. It's only been a week since the Praugers pulled out of Bohemia and what feels like forever since Henry touched his Lord in anyway that matters. They haven't talked about the...'encouragement' Hans gave Henry before he snuck out of Suchdol on his most recent dance with death. Because what is there to even say? Hans will get married and Henry will just have to try and keep himself from thinking about what it felt like to have his Lord withering below him.
