So Dean steps aside, and Cas finds Michael. He's a loving husband and step-father who accepts that Dean and Sam are a part of Claire and Cas' lives. When Michael's life is lost, Dean steps up, taking over the mating bond that should have been his years ago and helping Cas with the pain and grief of losing his mate.

Summary
