Summary
"Jealous are you, Sherlock?" James said, without breaking eye-contact. Though they were nearly the same height, it felt like James towered miles above him.
"What are you on about," Sherlock muttered, his palms growing damp from the intensity that hung between them.
For once, Sherlock couldn't look past the surface of what James wore to peer into his mind. For the life of him, he couldn't work out what the other man was thinking. All that registered was the dark scent of his cologne, the breath of pores that sprinkled his face. The angularity of his jaw that somehow escaped him in the past. And his eyes, God, his eyes.
Everything about him was fashioned sharply, like a knife against his chest, dangerous.
The thought struck something in Sherlock, and he went up like dry linen catching fire.

Summary
After the canon events, Sherlock and James return to Appleton Manor. Although it is seemingly over, Sherlock 's head won't stop spinning. His father's words haunt him, he still tells himself that what happend to Beatrice was his fault. With his head and overactive imagination running wild, his hallucinations worsen and he tries to hide. James of course immediately notices that Sherlock is falling apart and tries saving him in his own, witty and twisted way.
I just realized the lack of works in this fandom so yeah, here's my spin of it. Later, there will also be smut, do not worry y'all heheh Will update the tags when I am further in the story.

As James turns his back, Sherlock is reminded of the form of the Princess. Quickly realising that James may be the key to unlocking his blurred memories, James agrees to help Sherlock recall the events of last night. But all too soon Sherlock begins to notice that in place of Shou’an, a certain stubborn grin takes its place in his mind, and the touch that he craves doesn’t come from tender, soft hands, but rather the ink-stained ones of an all too familiar face.
