18:44The bell rang once again, the simple chime blending into Mariah Carey’s soprano, going almost unnoticed.
“Eren, stop standing under the mistletoe and get the door, will you?” His Mom’s voice came from the kitchen. Eren felt his face burn with mortification. The boy complied grumpily, walking over to the entrance.
“Mom! I wasn’t standing under the mistle-FUCK!” He froze up in the middle of the open door.
“Mistle-fuck indeed,”came the familiar deep timbre.
Puffs of warm breaths escaped the impassive pink lips as the man Eren knew so well stood before him – this time without the barrier of a led screen. His dom stood at their porch, clad in a long black cashmere coat. Levi carefully tugged on each finger of his leather glove, easing it off his right hand, then doing the same to the left, an expression of subtle amusement making Eren’s insides flutter with admiration and arousal.
“Da- hmph” Eren stopped himself in time, he could feel his cheeks burning with cold, and emotions he couldn’t even start to comprehend. “Uncle Levi?”
“Apparently,” Levi straightened up, fixing the lapels of his pitch black coat. “Will it ruin your Christmas if I come in?”

It started somewhat innocently last Monday morning, where Eren had happened to be early for work. He had prepared himself for quite the uneventful day so imagine his surprise when he was greeted with a bouquet of fresh red roses at his desk.
He had figured there was some sort of mix-up but when he checked the attached card, his name was printed clear as day. He couldn’t help but feel a little bit delighted. How could you blame him? Anyone would feel flattered if they realised they had a secret admirer.
However that all vanished in an instant when he had turned over the card to read the name of the sender.
Levi Ackerman.
It took him a few seconds to connect the dots to where he knew that name from but once he did, he couldn’t help the shiver that was sent down his spine.
He hadn’t heard that name in a long time, eight years in fact. It was the name of Mikasa’s second cousin. Eren didn’t know him very well, in fact he’d barely spoken to the man. All he remembered of the one month that Levi had lived with Mikasa’s parents was that the man was creepy.
