Summary
"Hyung!" someone screams, and Chan's head lolls as his shoulder is jostled. He's pretty sure his eyes are open, but everything around him is dark and blurry.
"How many did you take?" another voice demands.
Chan racks his brain to remember. His mind feels like it's stuffed with cotton, his thoughts as slow as molasses.
"I don't-" he croaks, his throat painfully dry. "I just-"
"Please, Chan, how many pills did you take?"
Something breaks in him then, the final thread of his composure snapping, and tears burst forth freely, soaking into the sleeve of his sweatshirt. The floor feels ice cold underneath him.
"I just wanted to sleep," he cries. The lights are too bright, the voices too loud. His head is pounding in time with his erratic heart and everything is so overwhelming, too much for his brain to take anymore.
"I'm so tired," he whimpers as someone pulls him into a hug. "I just want to sleep."

With comeback deadlines creeping up on him and his insomnia being the worst it's ever been, Chan struggles to keep his head above water.
