Summary
He catches him two blocks later. The guy is good but not a runner. He grabs onto a coat and a comically big backpack and hears a high pitched yelp from somewhere under it as he throws the body against the nearest wall. What he does not expect is to see is a familiar face. Seo Juntae’s one, to be exact. There’s a small edge of excitement cutting though him like a knife. He drinks away at the heavy breathing, the closed eyes, the trembling of the knees.
“No- please, please! No- I did not see anything, I swear, I-”
"Owie." Seongje pokes at his cheek and does not believe a single word, “so, you what? hmm? Walked in on accident? Stayed there for a couple of minutes to take a good look?”
‘No, I-” The screeching scratches something at the back of his mind.
“Did you call the police? Mhm? Did you run for help? Oh! Maybe you recorded me do it?” he grins.
“I...” Juntae is positively turning purple but Seongje is having too much fun to let go. He tightens the grip.
“So you just stood there watching me like a freak that you are?”aka
Five times Juntae ends up somewhere he’s not supposed to be and one time Seongje does the same -

“I have coffee at home.” Lawrence says before the implications of what he says could really sink into his mind.
“Oh.”
He probably should not have said that. Not with his current state of emotional affairs.
He clears his throat and clenches to a piece of paper he is holding onto, “yeah, ughm,” he underlines some words on the paper pressing into it slightly more than needed. He hopes to sound nonchalant and distant. This is like offering a colleague to take a coffee break. Everyone does it all the time. Maybe they can gossip near the water cooler later. Or whatever, “I mean, if Your Holiness does indeed not have any other plans for the evening, we could… fill in the time.”

It’s good news. Right?
Mingi thinks.
It’s supposed to be good news.
He’s doing good for the community. He helps Seonghwa-hyung out. He makes a little money on the side since he’s in between the jobs now.
And finally, Yunho’s like stupid handsome and lovely (and tall) enough to charm anyone into a tip or an extra pastry or another round of drinks. He’s always “right there with you!” with his sunny smile and wishes you a nice day to the point where when you leave the shop you actually have one cause he’s just that good with people.
All and all good stuff. Can’t complain.
Except for, maybe, that last part.
Truth is Yunho’s been working at a coffee shop for over a week now and it’s been slowly driving Mingi insane.

Mingi looks up at him. For a second Yunho thinks he will say something but the moment passes and Mingi stays silent and just scoots closer his head on Yunho’s shoulder. They lie in silence taking in the clear black skies above them spread out like a large dome covering them. The rustling of the city feels distant for some reason and despite being weary and tired from the busy week Yunho finds himself weirdly content right here. He hopes Mingi feels the same.
“Did you know, it’s almost impossible to see bright stars here.” Yunho blurts out.
Mingi is silent for a moment and then erupts in giggles his eyes little crescent moons on his face under the brightest smile, “I know you did not just quote me another cheesy line from your kdramas!”

Seongmin’s mouth falls open clearly taken aback by his statement. Mingi curses himself again in his mind only hoping that it’s not showing on his face. He’s so stupid. Why did he do that, why did he have to lie to him out of all people. It’s only a few second slip up though because Seongmin quickly goes back to his previous cocky state, a cunning smile gracing his lips, “oh! So soon!”

The words hang in the air between them, fragile and irrevocable. Rozanov goes very still.
Shane feels a flash of panic—wonders if he’s misjudged, if he’s pushed too hard and too fast. He rushes to fill the silence, almost tripping over the words, trying to frame it the way he rehearsed in his head.
“It’s more practical, right?” He adds. “Less media. No teammates. You’d have your own space. And it’s only until flights start up again. You can leave first thing when they resume.”
