"You kidnapped me." Till states the obvious, to which Ivan perked his head, peering up with dark eyes, pools of glimmering adoration.
"You did offer an invitation to do so, I merely took it." Ivan responds just as matter-of-fact, as if the action of kidnapping your on-and-off boyfriend back to your own home was something as socially natural as sending an email or greeting your neighbors while taking out the trash.
The best Valentine's gift is getting kidnapped by the boyfriend you've tried to dump once. Or twice. Or maybe five times.

Ivan's first encounter with sexual pleasure was right after Till had been dragged off after a poor performance during a vocal practice lesson. He had refused to sing when cued. He had been dragged off, a firm grip around a delicate wrist, kicking and shouting, the other children peering on in anxious silence, at the false sky or the false trees.
But Ivan alone had spied it, a flash of pale, bruised skin from a shirt lifted by those flailing limbs. It intrigued him, that canvas painted green and blue and purple, made his blood warm and chest flutter.
That night Ivan had spilled into his own hands, his first ejaculation.

Scaramouche had heard the factoid once or twice, over a stray Tik Tok or from a random YouTube video, maybe a few times in class: kidnapping victims often held some relationship with their kidnapper, that the cases of a total stranger kidnapping another stranger were surprisingly slim in comparison to the kidnapper knowing the victim.
Still, imagining that a student in the class you TA'd for would be your kidnapper was still a bit beyond the imagination.

Ivan had merely shrugged, that awful, charming smile he had worn diligently since he was sixteen turning a tinge more manic. "Why not? Childe laughs, a boisterous noise that echoes within the warm confines, harmonizing with the buzz of the rain, a laugh that is paired with Childe placing the book carefully upon the side table and leaning in to press a lazy kiss into Zhongli's neck, their bodies fitted together like slotted puzzle pieces. When he speaks the words are low, "And where is that?"
"Here, next to me."
Zhongli begs him to stay, Childe persuades him to leave. An immovable pillar standing against crashing waves.
