Summary
Hyunjin says something when he turns back to Seungmin. Seungmin shakes his head before standing and walking out of the room and heading straight for Jeongin. If Jeongin were stronger, he’d let Seungmin be, but he’s so fucking weak and takes him into his arms as soon as he’s within reach and buries his face in his neck and breathes deep. He’s holding onto him much too tightly, but Seungmin doesn’t complain. Seungmin never really complains; instead it’s painted all over his face, his scent, the way he stiffens from Jeongin’s touch instead of relaxing into it.
Jeongin holds back a whimper at the apathy.
However, he calms instantly at Seungmin’s healthy, albeit irritated scent and pulls himself away. He stands with his arms behind his back so he doesn’t touch him again. He’ll try harder not to impose himself on Seungmin. That’s enough for now.

The Stone Gryphon is a sprawling Spare Oom story of war, espionage, immoral acts done in service of moral ends, natural history, dinosaurs, Alice in Wonderland, cunning corvids, tequila, D-Day, theology, spirituality, love and sex. If the Dawn Treader can be on the wall of a spare bedroom in Impington, Narnia can be found in other places, too. The Friends of Narnia just have to learn where to look. And upon returning from Narnia, the Pevensies probably didn't just sit around waiting to die in a fiery train wreck.

Well, shit.
Hyunjin can’t tell him now -- not after seeing the pleased little smile on Seungmin’s face and the slight tilt of his round little head, too reminiscent of a puppy for Hyunjin to subsequently kick with the truth: that Seungmin still hasn’t been confessed to before, because the confession was never meant for him. It was meant for his best friend, Lee Felix.
Hyunjin accidentally slips Felix’s love letter into Seungmin’s locker and is such an INFP that he doesn’t have the heart to tell Seungmin the truth.

“Nothing, I-” he pauses for a moment, trying his best to remember just how words and sentences work. “You just take my breath away, that’s all. I was, I was just thinking.” He swallows, tongue moistening his drying lips when he sees Seungmin’s smile get even wider with a tinge of shyness. Cute.
“Think… ab- bout me?” Seungmin struggles through, feeling as if he too is losing his breath.
“Always you, baby. I can never stop thinking about you.”
AKA… Minho and Seungmin don’t quite know how to navigate their relationship, often putting each other in misery. Calling it quits is clearly the only option here… right?

“If you wanted something, why didn’t you ask for it?” It sounds a lot more petty and immature than he wants to. Seungmin bites his lip, grabbing a handful of the covers as he realizes how his question sounded.Minho’s fingers, touching Seungmin’s bare waist, stop abruptly. His touch is like fire, marking Seungmin’s soul, leaving his fingerprints forever.
“You always come after me. I thought you weren’t in the mood,” Minho says. His voice is no longer full of seduction; it seems a little surprised.
“It would be nice to feel like I’m desired too from time to time,” Seungmin doesn’t want to look too bitter, but the dam has already opened. He can’t stop his mouth from saying what he’s been avoiding for months. “But I keep having to beg for some of your attention.”
Seungmin doesn't know what kind of relationship he and Minho have, and their miscommunication becomes a problem.

And shit, that simple sentence coming out of Minho’s mouth makes Seungmin’s head spin a little. He clears his throat and looks out onto the floor, afraid of what he’ll say if he has to look Minho in the eyes. He takes a moment to observe the various scenes happening below him, trying to insert himself into them and see where he fits. His eyes linger on a sub being restrained to a St. Andrew’s Cross. He starts there.
“I think I’d…” Seungmin swallows and tries again. He needs to be as confident as he can manage. He knows the rules for these kinds of negotiations. He has to be sure. “I’d like to be tied up.”

It was a bit like this. Minho was peeling open a mandarin orange and offering sweet little slices, but there just weren’t enough slices to go around. And Seungmin didn’t need it anyways—not the way that some of the others did—and Minho knew that. Wanting was a different matter. If it was about wanting, then Seungmin wanted the whole orange.

Kim Seungmin is asleep in Minho’s bed.
He's on his side, his cheek squished against Minho’s pillow, the blankets slightly rumpled underneath him. One of his hands is curled loosely against his chest, the other extended under him. His brace-free teeth peek out from behind his parted lips, and Minho thinks he's losing his mind.
This hasn't happened before. At least, not to his knowledge. He doesn't know what to do.
