"And what about the promise you made to your beloved Valentino? The vow to love, cherish and be faithful to him for all eternity? Where does your loyalty to him factor in now, my sweet Vox? As you stand here, in this den of sin, ready to surrender yourself to me completely? Tell me, does he know you're here, throwing away everything for a taste of the pleasure only I can give you?"

Summary
Slowly pulling a black handgun out from his pocket, the brunette walked closer until he was directly behind his prey. He pushed the gun against the back of the latters head, finger on the trigger. The taller man dropped his cigarette, holding his hands up in the air.
“Alastor…” he whispered huskily.
“Vox” alastor smirked.
Vox slowly turned around “ive been waiting for you”
“Well the waits over” Alastor moved his finger but Vox was quicker quickly grabbing the knife from his pocket and twirling alastor round into a headlock, knife against his throat.
“Well thank fuck for that” Vox laughed but it was followed by a cough when Alastor elbowed him in the stomach causing him to drop his knife.
Alastor kicked the knife away before moving and kicking Voxs knees causing him to drop down. Alastor held the gun out towards him.
“This ends tonight.”
“I agree” Vox looked up at him smiling, slowly climbing onto one knee “Alastor Altruist…”
Alastor raised an eyebrow watching him, tightening his grip on his weapon.
“…Marry me”
OR
alastor and vox both work for rival assassin agencys and are trying to unalive each other but this is AO3 so ofc they fall in love
