Summary
Oscar walks in on Lando pressing one of his hoodies to his face while he’s packing, burying his nose in the collar, and quirks a brow.
Lando scowls at him, caught out. “Don’t judge me, Piastri.”
“Aw, don’t tell me you’re going to miss me,” Oscar says, amused.
Lando huffs, turning back to his folding. He can feel his cheeks heating.
Long arms wrap around his waist, pulling him back against Oscar’s chest. The dom presses a kiss to his cheek. “It’s just three nights, baby,” he murmurs in Lando’s ear. “That’s practically nothing.”

The 2024 season ends. Another Norris family Christmas rolls around. Oscar picks up the pieces, with some help from their friends.

Oscar doesn’t hate Lando. Not really.
He hates that Lando never apologized for that one race. He hates the media-trained smiles, the empty camaraderie, the way McLaren expects them to be best mates.
He hates the flirting. The reckless driving. The way Lando lights up for strangers but shuts down around him.
Mostly, he hates that it’s not just hate.
Somewhere between all that, Oscar realizes what everyone else already suspects: they’ve been circling this for a while.
Whatever this is.
It’s not friendly. It’s not simple. But it’s starting to feel inevitable.
